Wow what a hectic summer – despite it being the wettest for about a million years we were virtually full all summer – and with lots of repeat bookings it does seem that we must be doing something right! We have had really helpful feedback from guests – so next year look out for some sort of covered area on the decked area outside the facilities building – Peter is having great fun designing a suitable ‘structure’. I am determined to get the wood burning pizza oven in over the winter……..but not before I have spent some time focussing on having courses here –so if you run courses please bear us in mind as a location - Llanishen village has a fantastic new village hall which can be hired for a teaching space and has underfloor heating (great for yoga).
Lots of alpaca babies and we have continued the tradition of naming them after guests – so we have Zoe…..and then we have a problem because the guests were boys and the crias, girls – and Lorenzo, Henry and George just didn’t work. So back to the old system of waiting to see what springs to mind.
All the campsite yurts are sold – sorry to everyone who missed out on the bargains – they will be starting their new life next year in a new yurt campsite in Hampshire (we'll put the details on our links page when it's open). We do have one 19’6 ex demonstration yurt available which is also going at a reduced price and we are just about to place an order so if you want to guarantee a particular colour or size do get in touch. As usual we will be trying to keep a range of sizes in stock though of course second guessing what sizes and colours will be popular is always difficult.
